When the device detects a noise, it sends you an immediate alert via a call to your phone. When you answer the call, you'll be able to hear surrounding noises (within a 12m radius). To activate this alert, you need to send an SMS to the SIM card in the power strip.

Do you need an internet plan to access the spy power strip location?

No, you don't need an internet plan to access the microphone's positions (via LBS); a mobile phone plan is sufficient. You can receive the locations as SMS messages. However, for more precise location information, it's best to have an internet plan (for Wi-Fi location).

What is the battery life of the mini spy microphone hidden in the power strip?
